Tyent’s most powerful and top of the line water ionizer is their MMP-9090 model. This water ionizer is made of stainless steel and has easy control touch button settings on the outside that are very intuitive and easy to understand.
What gives the 9090 the advantage over many other water ionizers on the market is its range of water pH adjustment. No other water ionizer on the market can create water with a pH of 2 on the acidic side and 12 on the alkaline part of the range. At these extremes of alkalinity and acidity, the water is used for cleaning cutting boards, disinfecting sterilizing, cleaning bathrooms. Both extremes of water pH are mainly used for thorough cleaning and because the water is so strong at those levels, they are not suitable for drinking.
The ionizer has seven settings all together: 4 drinkable settings and 3 acidic settings. The drinkable settings include low alkalinity medium alkalinity and high alkalinity. The fourth drinkable setting is purified water mode. The low alkalinity setting is the recommended drinking water. The medium alkalinity setting is recommended for cooking and the high alkalinity setting is basically functional water. All four setting s yield potable water and is safe to drink.
The three acidic settings were designed for cleaning. Settings go from weak acidic, to medium acidic to high acidic, and they are all used for cleaning.
The display also shows the pH level of the water being used, as well as a voltage display, filter usage display, and operation display.
The Filters
Tyent’s MMP-9090 boasts a state-of-the-art filtration system. Most other water ionizers on the market only contain one carbon filter. The Tyent 9090 has two filters that engage in a two-step filtering process. The first filter is a common active carbon filter that is capable of removing rust, excessive chlorine, and volatile active organic compounds. The secondary filter is made of a special ceramic compound that complements the water’s mineral content and balances the ionic potential of the water. The filters usually have a span of about 6 months. The onboard CPU on the unit signals when it is time to change the filters.
Electrode Plates
The central components of the MMP-9090, and the feature that sets the MMP-9090 a notch above most other systems are the 9 electrode plates. Their main function is to apply the electric charge that ionizes the water. They are made of platinum and titanium. Because of the high quality material of these electrodes, the unit offers optimum ionization and an extended life span.
The MMP-9090 also has a built in automatic anti-virus function whereby the alkaline water machine inhibits the propagation of unwanted microorganisms.
All of the functions of the MMp-9090 are controlled and regulated by the unit’s central processing unit that also regulates the unit’s charge depending on external conditions. There is also a voice function that serves to advise the user about the alkalinity or acidity of the water being drawn out.
